Obituary of Josephine Leahy

Josephine Leahy (née Lopes) Age 94 of Forked River,NJ, formerly of Cliffside Park, passed away on November 25,2017.  Beloved Wife of the late Vincent (1967). Devoted Mother of Joseph, Regina Gatti (Richard) and Patricia Mazzella  (Patrick).  Dear Sister of the late Catherine Stocco and Audrey Puibello.  Loving Grandmother of  Vincent, Jennifer and Nicole Gatti and Vincent and Lauren Mazzella. Cherished Great-Grandmother of Dominic.Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Josephine was born in Sicily, Italy on November 2, 1923 to the late Joseph and Maria (née Botta) Lopes and lived in Cliffside Park before moving to Forked River two years ago. She was a retired homemaker and cared for her children and grand-children.

Visiting Hours on Tuesday from 4 to 8 Pm at the Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at Madonna Church on the Hill, Fort Lee. Interment at Madonna Cemetery.
