Aldaiza Morin, 88, of Oakland NJ, entered into eternal rest on May 3, 2025.

Born in Susak, Croatia, on December 1, 1936 to parents, Francesca Mattessich (Maiden name Tarabokija) and Nicolo Mattessich.

She immigrated to the United States in 1963. She arrived in Hoboken, NJ, and moved in 1973 to North Bergen, NJ, before moving in 2007 to Oakland, NJ.

Aldaiza met her beloved husband, John Morin (died on October 22, 2022) , in Hoboken and they were married on November 14, 1964 in St. Francis Church (Hoboken NJ).

She was a seamstress for many years. She loved baking, cooking, going on cruises, playing bingo, being a devout Roman Catholic, and watching her grandchildren play youth sports.

She is survived by Mary Morin-Vasoll, Her Daughter (husband Robert), Nicholas Morin Her Son (Wife Milka), Jonathan Morin Grandson (of Nicholas and Milka), Emily Morin Granddaughter (of Nicholas and Milka), Maria Krstina (Morin) (sister in law) - she has a deceased husband Joseph Krstina (brother in law), along with many nieces and nephews.

She will be reunited in heaven with Nicolo Mattessich Her Brother and his deceased wife Domenica, Giacomina Scrivanich Her Sister (Maiden name Mattessich) and her deceased husband Nicolo, Lina Glavan (maiden name Morin) Sister In Law, Mario Glavan Brother In Law, and her beloved husband, John Morin.

Visitation, in memory of Aldaiza, will take place on Wednesday, May 7th, from 4 - 8 PM at the Joseph Z Konopka Funeral Home.

Funeral mass will be held the following day, May 8th at 9:30 AM in Epiphany Church, Cliffside Park.

After mass, we will take Aldaiza to her final resting place in Fairview Mausoleum.
