John Ciccolella Obituary

John Ciccolella, 62, passed away on November 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A proud Hoboken native of Italian heritage, John was born and raised in the city he held so close to his heart. Throughout his life, he carried with him the values of hard work, loyalty, and deep devotion to those he loved.

As a young man, John was an avid athlete, playing soccer in high school and forming friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. He was also a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, cheering for his team with unwavering enthusiasm year after year. He was also a big fan of the New York Mets.

John built his career through dedication and grit. He worked many years in masonry and construction, earning the respect of colleagues for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. Before that, he was employed with Farmland Dairies, where he forged connections and contributed to a company that served the community.

Outside of work, John enjoyed life’s simple joys. He loved listening to the music of the 80s and 90s, spending time with friends and family, and finding peace in nature—especially while he lived in the Poconos. Whether sharing a laugh, offering a helping hand, or enjoying a quiet moment outdoors, John brought warmth and sincerity to every part of his life.

John is survived by his beloved wife Annie and his cherished daughter, Sarah. He is also survived by his sister, Sara Gadaleta, and her husband Giovanni; his brother, Ignazio Ciccolella, and his wife Tina; and Victoria Germinario. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, his loyalty, and the enduring love he held for his family.

John’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain a guiding light for all who knew and loved him.
