Joann Evert, 80, of Cliffside Park, passed away on January 21, 2026.

She worked for many years as a cashier at Pathmark, where she was known for her dedication and friendly presence. Above all else, Joann loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and her family was the center of her life.

She is survived by her granddaughter and adopted daughter, Ava Kempf; her grandson and adopted son, Charlie Evert;her brother, John Durkee, as well as her grandchildren, Tyler Evert, Isaiah McClenny and

Tavone McClenny.

She will be remembered with love by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Memorial service for Joann will be held Friday, January 30th, from 2 - 6 PM at the Joseph Z. Konopka Funeral Home. Prayer service will take place in the chapel at 3 PM.
