Vartan Darakjian, Age 69 of Cliffside Park, NJ passed away on March 14, 2017. Devoted Husband of Siran (nee Nazarian). Beloved Father of Peter (Natalie), Jack (Caroline) and Nazareth. Loving Grandfather of Sophia Darakjian. Dear Brother of Antranij (Anton). Krikor (Koko), Alice, Angel, Sonig and the late Lucy.
Vartan was born in Aleppo, Syria and came to the US in 1969 and lived in North Bergen until 1975. He then moved to California and came back in 2005 to Cliffside Park. He retired as owner of Johnny’s Sunoco Station in Bergenfield.
Viewing Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 9 to 10 AM at St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 461 Bergen Blvd, Ridgefield, NJ. Funeral Service to follow at 10 AM at the Church. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ
