Dolores A. Guglielmelli of Cliffside Park, NJ formally of Hoboken, NJ entered into eternal life on June 4, 2017. She was born on April 23rd, 1930 in Hoboken, NJ.

Family was the absolute most important thing for Dolores. When her mother passed away as a young women and Dolores at the tender age of 17 started working for her father at his businesses. She then went out into the workforce to help support the family so her younger siblings could stay in school.

Dolores lived in the same apartment for over 84 years where she continued to assist her family in any of their endeavors and became an integral part of the Hoboken community and the St. Francis Church.

Dolores was not just an amazing woman, but also a living saint. She touched the lives of anyone she had ever met leaving memories with them that are everlasting. Anyone who knew Dolores described her as joyous, selfless, and a woman with nothing but love in her heart. Although she may have never had any children of her own she cared for everyone as if they were her own. She was a loving and caring caretaker for her family, contemporaries, and even strangers. She could always be relied on to point out the good things in life and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

She is preceded on her journey to glory and will be accompanied by her mother Incoronata, her father Michele A. Guglielmelli, her brother Andrew, her sister-in-law Marie, and her brother-in-law Peter Gallina. Her predeceased brother Father Michael Vincent Guglielmelli and her late sister Antoinette M. Gallina shortly followed her into glory.

Dolores leaves to cherish her fond memories her nephews and nieces; Michael Guglielmelli and his wife Anna, Antonia Campbell and her husband Eddie, Helen Gallina-Deluca and her significant other Joseph, Michael Gallina and his wife Maria, and Paul Gallina and his wife Michelle. She is also remembered by her grand-nieces and grand-nephews Kim Fucci and her husband JonPaul, Christopher Campbell and his fiancé Lesley, Michael Campbell and his wife Megan, Elise Cook and her husband Joel, Justin Guglielmelli and his wife Amy, Matthew Guglielmelli, Deanna DeLuca, Daniel DeLuca, Paul Gallina, Angela Gallina, Peter Gallina, and Alexa Gallina. In addition she is remembered by her great-grandnieces Emily and Nicole and many godchildren.

 

Visitation will be at St. Francis Church, 308 Jefferson Street Hoboken, NJ on Wednesday from 1-9 pm with a Vigil  Mass  at 7PM .  Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 15th at 11am with the burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. We ask to please use public transportation and travel together as parking is limited and church capacity is extremely limited.  In lieu of Flowers, donations in the form of Masses and Candles would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements by Konopka Funeral Home, North Bergen, NJ.   Condolences at www.Konopkafuneralhome.com.
