Obituary of John M. Bobat

John M. Bobat,  Age 95 of Englewood, NJ passed away on May 16, 2018. Devoted Husband of the late Jean (nee Ochtera (1970)) and Inger (nee Karberg  (2002)). Dear Cousin of Stanley, Dennis, Ronald and the late Alexander Filipowicz and Barbara & Leonard Jesuele and Family.  Dear Family Friend of Mickey Cassidy.

John was born in Cliffside Park, NJ and lived in Cliffside Park before moving to Englewood in 1964.  He retired in 1985 from the Bergen County Vocational & Technical High School where he was a Teacher. John was a member of the Cliffside Park Athletic Club, the American Legion Post # 78 of Englewood and the VASA Order of America – Lodge Beltic Framat 360 of New Milford.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4 to 8 PM at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Cecilia’s Church, Englewood, NJ.  Entombment to follow at Hackensack Mausoleum, Hackensack, NJ.
