Obituary of Gaetano Bavaro

Gaetano Bavaro, Age 82, of North Bergen, NJ passed away on June 30, 2018.  Beloved Husband of Olimpia (née Calo).  Devoted Father of Frank (Karole),Maria Antonia Capurso (Giovanni), Nicoletta Sari (Joseph) and Vincenza Cirillo (Cosmo Robert).  Dear Brother of Loretta and Vito.  Loving Grandfather of 8 grandchildren.

Gaetano was born in Giovinazzo, Italy on April 21, 1936 to the late Francesco and Antonia (née Magrano) Bavaro.  He came to the US in 1979 and lived in Hoboken before moving to North Bergen in 1993.  He was a retired Construction worker for C & R Construction Company, North Bergen.  

Visiting Hours on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 5 to 9 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen,NJ.  Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10 AM at St Francis Church, Hoboken, NJ.  Friends are asked to meet at the Church, no visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday.  Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington,NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Family would be appreciated.
