Obituary of Zdenko Matesic

Zdenko Matesic, Age 67 of Cliffside Park, NJ passed away on August 16, 2018. Devoted Husband of Yvonne (née Picinic). Beloved Father of Leslie (Donny) Janevski, Josephine (Chris) Terranova, Nick Matesic and Danny Matesic (Jenny).  Dear Brother of Maria Picinic, Josip Matesic, Sister Nikolina Matesic, Matea Picinic (Lukia) and Vjeko Matesic (Natasha).  Loving Grandfather of Lucias and Juliette Janevski and Victoria and Viviana Terranova.

Zdenko was born in Susak, Croatia on January 16, 1951 to the late Josip and Katica (née Susic) Matesic and came to the US in 1968 in Hoboken and Fairview for 18 years and the last 23 years in Cliffside Park. He was a retired painter for the International Painter’s Union in Bloomfield and was a member of Susak Klappa in Cliffside Park, NJ.

Visiting Hours on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am at Epiphany Church, 247 Knox Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
