Jose Gomez-Herbon, Age 83, of North Bergen,NJ, passed away on September 7, 2018.  Beloved Husband of Norma Victoria (née Pascual).  Devoted Father of Deborah Bell. Dear Brother of Herman Gomez and Maria Abuin. Loving Grandfather of Victoria Smulevitz (Jeffrey), Alexandria Bell-Mlotek (Elisha), Avery and Perry Bell. Cherished Great Grandfather of Ayelet and Tamar Smulevitz.

Jose was born in Havana, Cuba on September 12, 1934 to the late Jose Gomez-Bernardez and Josefa Herbon-Lopez. He came to the US in 1966 and lived in Washington Heights, NY before moving to North Bergen 45 years ago. He retired from Vitusa Inc. Import/ Export Industry in Englewood, NJ. A Graveside Service at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ,  Arrangements by Konopka Funeral Home, North Bergen. No Visiting Hours at Funeral Home.
