Obituary of Domenic Matesic

Domenic Matesic, Age 85 of Hoboken, NJ passed away on May 28, 2019.  Devoted Husband of Diana (née Svorinich). Beloved Son of the late Domenick and Antonia (née Piccini) Matesic. Dear Brother of Antonia Rerecich (Bruno) and the late Maria Morin (2018).  Loving Uncle of JosephineTarabocchia (Nick), Mary Scrivanich (Matthew), Antoinette Viducci (John) and John Rerecich (Gina). Cherished Uncle of many Great Nieces and Nephews.

Domenic was born on February 15, 1934 in Susak, Croatia and came to the US in 1956 and lived in Hoboken until his death.  He was a retired Longshoremen and was a member of the ILA of New York.

Visiting Hours on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen, NJ 07047. Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 404 Hudson Street, Hoboken, NJ. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North  Arlington, NJ 07031.
