Ivan N. Picinic, Age 87 of North Bergen, NJ, passed away on December 28, 2019. Devoted Husband of Antonia (née Picinich). Beloved Father of John (Nerina) and Trinita More (Ralph). Dear Brother of Anica Hroncich (the late Antonio), Matteo Picini, Agatha Tarabocchia, Domenica Tarabocchia and Antonia Picinic . Loving Grandfather of Dylan and the late Joel More.
Ivan was born in Susak, Croatia on July 3, 1932 to the late Ivan and Nikolina (née Suttora) Picinic and came to the U.S. in 1962. He lived in Hoboken before moving to North Bergen in 1975 and was a retired Longshoremen for I.L.A., Newark, NJ and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, North Bergen. Ivan was a member of Susak Klapa, and St. Nicholas Society of Sansiego, Fairview, NJ .
Visiting on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 9034 Barr Place, North Bergen, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview, Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
