Obituary of Anthony Joseph Barreto

Anthony Joseph Barreto, Age 89 of Jackson, NJ formely of Cliffside Park passed away on April 1, 2020. Devoted husband to the late Amelia (nee Martins) for 60 yrs (2017). Beloved Father of Rosemary DePietro and her husband Richard DePietro, Jeanette Barci and her husband the late Richard Barci, Steve M Barreto and his wife Dina Barreto and the late Michael M Barreto. Loving grandfather of Alyssa, Gianna, Angela, Megan, Mary, Paige, Elizabeth and Morgan. Cherished great grandfather of Jace Richard and Ryan Kathleen. Anthony was born on August 19, 1930 in Cova da Piedade, Almada, Portugal to the late Jose Barreto and Maria Grace (née Garcia) and came to the US on Nov 15, 1949 and lived in Cliffside Park since 1971 before moving to Jackson a year ago. He retired from a textile manufacuturing company J Schwarzwald & Sons in North Bergen. NJ. Funeral arrangements will be private for the family on Tuesday , April 7, 2020 at Fairview Mausoleum, 501 Bergenwood Road, Fairview, NJ .Anthony will be entombed will his late wife Amelia.
