Michael D. Verbovsky , Age 92 of Little Ferry , NJ passed away on May 26,2020. Devoted Husband of the late Joan M (nee Murphy) 2012. Beloved Father of MaryEllen Scibetta, and Thomas Michael Verbovsky (Terry). Dear Brother of Josephine Kleinhans and the late Frank Verbovsky, Mary Richardson and Eleanor Strothman. Loving grandfather of Melanie Funt (Jason), Nicholas Scibetta, Patrick Verbovsky, Carlye McGrath (Joseph) and Zachary Verbovsky (Julie ). Cherished great-grandfather of Jason Michael Funt. Michael was born in Cliffside Park, NJ on Jan 6, 1928 to the late Joseph Verbowsky and Sophia (nee Siska) and lived in North Bergen before moving to Little Ferry in 1997. He was a retired Police Officer for North Bergen for 27 years and was a Navy Veteran. Funeral Services will be private for the family and burial at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ with his wife Joan.
