Obituary of Felix Atanacio Bardinas

Felix Atanacio Bardinas, of Edgewater, NJ, passed away on June 26, 2020. Born on May 2, 1925 in Fomento, Cuba to the late Cristina and Baldomero Bardinas. Felix, know as Viejo or Bardina to anyone who knew him, moved to America with his loving wife Georgina in 1967. They settled in Union City, NJ. Later, the loving couple moved in Miami Beach where they lived until they finally settled in Edgewater, NJ. Surviving are his six children, Felix Bardinas and his wife Valory, Robert Bardinas and his wife Genine, Leo Bardinas and his wife Karla, Mireya Bardinas and her partner Robert, Sara Sciancalepore and her husband Anthony and Thomas Bardinas and his wife Bonnie. Proud Grandfather of 14 grandchildren: Nicole Bardinas-Castaldo (Joseph), Alexandra Bardinas (Julio), Alyssa, Alex, Jake and Robert Bardinas Jr., Paige and Clayton Comerford, Sara George (Renee), Dylan and Skylar Sciancalepore and Evan, Cole and Luke Bardinas. Loving Great Grandfather to Gianna Castaldo. Cherished Brother to Rojel Bardinas and Xiomara Rodriguez. Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Felix is lovingly referred to by Georgina as the best husband, best father, best grandfather and best friend. He could often be found watching baseball, enjoying the outdoors or laughing with his family. A private celebration of Felix’s life will be held on June 29, 2020, at the Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen, NJ. A memorial celebration wIll be held at a later date.
