Joseph Ralph Celentano, Age 81 of North Bergen, NJ passed away on April 7, 2021. Devoted Father of Janine Chermark (and the late Michael). Beloved Life Partner of Norma Gonzalez and her Daughter Yvette Torres. Dear Brother of Carol Hughes (late Ray), and her Daughters RaeAnne Pavlovic and Andrea Baker. Loving Grandfather of Nicole Chermark and Daniel Chermark. Cherished Nephew of Tootsie Coletti and Mary Volpe. Also survived by many cousins. Joseph was born in Weehawken, NJ on January 13, 1940 to the late Ralph Celentano and Jean Moff and lived In Fairview, before moving to North Bergen, NJ 23 years ago. He retired as an Assistant Chief for the Bergen County Mosquito Control, Paramus, NJ and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Visiting Hours on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 9:30 am to 12 noon at the Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen, NJ. No more than 50 people at one time, Masks and social distancing required. Rev. Gary Stefanski will officiate at the 12 Noon Service at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ.
