Roza Matesic, (nee Picinic) Age 57 of Little Ferry, NJ passed away on June 10, 2021. Beloved Wife of the late Nikola ( 2007). Devoted Mother of Nicollette Matesic and Angelique Matesic. Dear Sister of Antonia Mirkovic(Anton), Maria Scrivanich(John), Jure Picinic (Elena), John Picinic (Maria) and Nick Picinic (Maria). Loving Sister-in-law of Maria Tarabokija (Silivio), Livio Mattessich (Branka) and the late Francesca Morin (late Luciano). Also surviving and several nieces and nephews.
Roza was born February 1, 1964 to the late Nikola Picinic and Dinka (nee Busanic) in Susak, Croatia and came to the US in 1967. She lived in Hoboken, North Bergen, Cliffside Park and Palisades Park before moving to Little Ferry in 2015. She was a salesperson at Macy’s in Paramus, NJ.
Visiting Hours on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ from 4 to 8 pm. Masks are required. Funeral Mass on Tuesday,June 15, 2021 at 9:30 AM at the Church of the Epiphany, 247 Knox Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
