Good bye “Baba!”
Haig Aydin Korogluyan was born in 1934 in Dikranagerd, Western Armenia, now Turkey. He was the youngest of four siblings in the Korogluyan family. One sibling survives him, sister Rozin Gunduz, living in Istanbul. His deceased siblings are Hagop, Aram, and Migerdich Korogluyans. He worked as a car mechanic and ran his business in Turkey.
In 1953, at a young age of 19 he fell in love and married Sevim Kazanjian. They had three children, Seta Burucuoglu, Murat Koroglu, and Bulent Koroglu, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. In the late 1980’s the Korogluyans emigrated to the United States of America, they lived in Bergen County.
Mr. Koroglu began working as a car mechanic. He would always offer his neighbors a helping hand and loved telling stories. He was loved and appreciated for his service to others, the ederly, neighbors and his family. His favorite thing in the world was to help and be with his grandchildren, whether it was teaching them to drive, fixing anything and everything he could or making it from scratch if he couldn't, or just making them laugh and smile, which he never failed to do, he was always there. Haig Korogluyan is survived by his wife of 68 years and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
May you Rest In Peace Baba.
We appreciate your prayers and love to the surviving family
