Viola “Fifi” LaRotonda (nee Prenenski),Age 95 of Cliffside Park passed away on September 25, 2021. Beloved Wife of Emil (Emmy) 2015. Devoted Mother of the late Robert (2001), Loving Mother-in-law of Peggy LaRotonda .Dear Sister of the late Frances Kulesza ,Sophie Callahan, Mae Romit, Stanley Prenenski and Frank Prenenski. Cherished Aunt of many nieces & nephews, great-nieces & nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Viola was born in the Bronx, NY on September 10, 1926 to the late John Prenenski and Julia (nee Piekus) and lived in Cliffside Park for the last 69 years. She retired as a administrator for Lustluron, in Edgewater, NJ. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, North Bergen, NJ for many years, past member of its Mother's Guild, Parish Council, Activities Committee member, Lector, Extra-ordinary minister of the Eucharistic, member of the Rosary Altar Society, Polish American Democratic Club Ladies Auxiliary and was very active at the Cliffside Park Senior Center. Visiting Hours on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, 9034 Barr Place, North Bergen, NJ. Interment to follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.
