Theodora (Barbara) Curran (nee Palestis), Age 86 of Little Ferry, NJ passed away on November 1, 2021. Beloved Wife of the late Frank (1998). Devoted Mother of BarbaraAnn O'Leary (Robert), Andrian Sertich (late Nicky) 2018, and the late Kevin Lisky (2018). Dear Sister of the late Billy Palestis and Sissy Shanley. Loving grandmother of Brian, Michael, Melanie, Marissa, Stevie, Jaci, Patrick, Todd and Fr. Nicholas. Cherished great-grandmother of 12 great-grand children. Barbara was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 6,1935 to the late Charles Palestis and Ethel (nee Torman) and lived in Cliffside Park for 20 years before moving to Little Ferry over 3 years ago. She was a active parishioner of the Church of the Epiphany, Cliffside Park, NJ and was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Women. Barbara was a Homemaker who also volunteered at Epiphany’s school, food pantry and in the kitchen at Bingo. Visiting Hours on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm at the Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12 Noon at The Church of the Epiphany, 247 Knox Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donation to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN would be appreciated by the family.
