Alvina "Mary" Tepepa (nee Alicea), Age 65 of West New York, NJ passed away on November 13, 2021. Beloved Mother of Rosemary Morales-Pope (Homer), Maria L Mendoza (Jose), and Sergio Martinez (Amanda). Dear Sister of Maria Cruz (Jose) and Carmelo Alicea and Life Long Companion of Mario Gonzalez. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Also surviving is her best friend Chuy.
Alvina was born in Puerto Rico on April 1,1956 to the late Francisco Alicea and Josefa (nee Ramos) and came to the US 60 years ago and lived in West New York for 42 years. She was a homemaker.
Visiting Hours on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 3 to 7 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen. NJ. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11AM at St Joseph's of the Palisades Church, 6401 Palisade Avenue, West New York, NJ. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN , would be appreciated by the family.
