Maria Filippone, Age 87 of Fairview, NJ passed away on November 15, 2021. Devoted Daughter of the late Carmelo and Maria (nee LaPlaca) Filippone. Loving Aunt of Tina Caratozzolo & Family. Dear Sister of Gino Filippone, Angelo Filippone, Antonio Filippone, Gina Leo and the late Salvatrice Bonomo, Giuseppina Greco and Rosina Restivo. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Maria was born in Collesano, Italy on October 13,1934 and came to the US in 1969 and has lived in Fairview, NJ over 30 years. She was a retired seamstress for Evan Piccone, North Bergen, NJ.
Visiting Hours on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 20,2021 at 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
