Maria Tarabocchia, (nee Bussanich), Age 83 of Fairview, NJ passed away on January 20, 2022. Beloved Wife of the late Antonio (2015). Devoted Mother of Mary Tarabokija (Dino), Marty Tarabocchia, Anthony (MaryJane) and Nicky Tarabocchia. Dear Sister of Matteo Bussanich (Celestina), Nick Bussanich (Linda), John Bussanich and the late Guiditta Bussanich. Loving grandmother of Jeanette DeCastro (Eddie), D.J.Tarabokija (Tara), Ashley Tarabocchia, Anthony Tarabocchia Jr. and Justin Tarabocchia. Cherished great- grandmother of Jaxon and Dylan.

Maria was born in Susak, Croatia on April 11, 1938 to the late Nicolo Bussanich and Antonia (nee Morin) and came to the US in 1957. She lived in Hoboken until moving to Fairview 6 months ago. Maria was a homemaker.

Visiting Hours on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 4 to 8 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ. Maria's family requests that masks be worn for the visitation and funeral.
