Matteo Bussanich, Age 88 of Saddle Brook, NJ passed away on January 24, 2022. Beloved Husband of Maria (nee Tarabokija).Devoted Father of Martha Bussanicch (Khalil), Thomas Bussanich (Diane), Matthew Bussanich (Tiffany) and Erica Viton (Lazaro). Dear Brother of Laura Morin and Nicolo Bussanich. Loving grandfather of Adam Chilal, Emily Bussanich, Jenna Bussanich, Jonathan Viton, Jake Viton, Alexander Bussanich, Royce Bussanich, Liam Bussanich and Matthew Bussanich.

Matteo was born in Susak, Croatia on July 29, 1933 to the late Matteo and Maria (nee Tarabocchia) Bussanich. He came to the US in 1962 and lived in Hoboken and North Bergen, NJ before moving to Saddle Brook. He was a retired Navigator.

Visiting Hours on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 4 to 8 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen. Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 10:00 Am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ. The family requests that masks be worn for visitation and funeral mass.
