John Morin, Age 87 of Oakland, NJ, formerly of North Bergen, passed away on October 22, 2022. Devoted Husband of Aldaiza (nee Mattessich). Beloved Father of Mary Morin (Robert) and Nicholas Morin ( Milka). Dear Brother of Maria Kristina (late Joseph) and the late Lina Glavan. Loving Grandfather of Jonathan & Emily Morin.
John was born on October 30, 1934 in Susak, Croatia to the late Natale Morin and Maria (nee Marinzulic). He came to the US in 1964 and settled in Hoboken before moving to North Bergen.
He has lived in Oakland, NJ for the last 15 years. John was an avid NY Rangers Hockey fan and loved watching his grandchildren play ice hockey. He also loved fishing and traveling on cruises.
Visiting Hours on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 4 to 8 PM at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Church of the Epiphany,247 Knox Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
