Devoted Sister of Giovanni (Juisippina) Bussanich, Yolanda Mattessich (late Aldo) and Nicolina Martinovic (Peter). Dear Aunt of George Bussanich, Stella Nicolich (Nevio), Mary Mircovich(Nick), John Martinovic, Peter Martinovic (Diane), Dino Mattessich (Dina), Nick Martinovic, Aldo Mattessich (Tamara), and the late Mario Mattessich (Angie). Loving Great-Aunt to Melanie, George Jr, Vanessa, Stefanie, Krystal, John Jr, Mario Jr., Kerry, Jocelyn, Jesse, Austin, Kaityln, Julia and Olivia.

Maria was born in Susak, Croatia on Februrary 26, 1932 and moved to the US in 1963. She lived in Hoboken, North Bergen and 52 years in Cliffside Park. She was a retired Seamstress and a member of the Holy Rosary Society (Drustvo Sveta Krunice ) of Sts Cyril & Methodius & St Raphael's Church, New York City.
