Matteo M. Bussanich, Age 80, of Cliffside Park, NJ passed away on May 14, 2023. Devoted Husband of Celestina (nee Picicinch). Beloved Father of Nicky, Dennis and the late Florence Bussanich. Dear Brother of John Bussanich, Nick (Linda) Bussanich and the late Maria Tarabocchia and Guiditta Bussanich. Loving grandfather of Jessica and Erica Bussanich. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
Matteo was born on September 8, 1942 in Susak, Croatia and came to the US in 1956. He lived in Hoboken before moving to Cliffside Park 25 years ago. He was a retired Longshormen and worked for Global Terminal in Bayonne, NJ.
Visiting Hours on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 4 to 8 pm at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 9:30 AM At Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
