Giuseppina (aka Josephine) Bussanich (nee) Hroncich, of Fair Lawn, NJ formerly of Emerson, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the age of 91.

Giuseppina was born on March 19, 1932 in Susak, Croatia and was the daughter of Giovanni and Maria Hroncich.

Giuseppina was the beloved wife of Giovanni Bussanich for 65 years. She is survived by her son George (Wilma) and her daughter Mary Mircovich (Nick).

Giuseppina was a loving and caring grandmother to Melanie (Joseph), George (Cheryl), Stefanie (Dan), Kerry, and Krystal.

Giuseppina was a cherished great-grandmother of Ryan, Colin, Sofia, Avery, Julia, Jayson, Luke, Reid and Archer.

Giuseppina was the beloved sister of the late Maria (Giovanni), the late Antonia (Giocchino), the late Martino (Antonia), Giovannina (the late Nicola), Giovanni (Elvira) and the late Anton (Dragica) and beloved sister-in-law to the late Maria, Yolanda (the late Aldo) and Nicolina (Peter). She was also an adored aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Giuseppina was dedicated and caring to her husband and most proud of her family, whom she would always put first. She was hard working woman and lived every day to please everyone around her.

Giuseppina continuously prayed, attended or watched mass and expressed her faith daily to everyone she met. She especially enjoyed social family gatherings where she would see her whole family who respected and loved her so much.

Her love for bingo was second to none and when she won, she would often donate to the less fortunate through several charities. She was an avid sports fan who rooted for the New York Rangers and especially her favorite player Mika Zibanejad.

She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She had a love for everyone around her, and there wasn’t a person she knew or met that did not say all good things about her.

Visiting hours on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 4 to 8 PM at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen, NJ. Funeral Mass on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11AM at Madonna Church on the Hill, Fort Lee, NJ. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ.
