Dear Mary(Traturova ) Nick, and every one of Big John Boo's family. Due to health issues was not able to attend the mass, was blessed to watch it live at the OLG church sight...it was beautiful with Marcella singing the eulogy by Mary ... It brought back many memories of old times in Hoboken.
The tears could not stop flowing, especially with the singing of the Our Father ... Again my deepest condolences to everyone.
R.I.P. Big John...Say hello to all in Heaven..
Cya when the time comes to leave this world...

I first met John 1996 in Mykonos, Greece. I was with my mum Jacki, we were eating a pancake and John looked over and said hey isn’t this just great.
I was super excited he was from New York and he loved our English accent. We spent the whole evening chatting and I said I’d visit NY one day!
I went to NY in 1997 and we have returned most years ever since!
My mum and I have run many New York Marathons since 1998 and John has always supported us.
I run a dance school in the UK and I would often travel and collect costumes from the US for my shows.
In 2003 John came to my Wedding in London
My husband Richard and I attended Johns 50th birthday party and we were all given My Favourite Mug with his photo on it, this was my favourite mug (until one day it broke).
I had my son in 2004 and John would welcome James-Tobias to NY and we saw many Broadway shows.
When James-Tobias made his West End debut in London, John flew over to see him in Scrooge and many other shows.
We all met in Barcelona for a mini vacation in 2018
The view from your balcony was always so amazing, I have so many photos and videos and memories.
The talking Snowman in your fridge always made me smile on our Christmas visits.
John you were like family to us, you were so kind and caring.
Thank you for so many memories and happy times.
Kelli xx
May you rest in peace ❤️

So many happy memories of our dear friend John.
First meeting him whilst on holiday with my daughter Kelli on the Greek Island of Mykonos, he loved that we were English,
Our English accent. We loved his American accent.
Visiting him in New York and becoming close friends, like family.
He came to meet my Mother,
He came to my daughters wedding in London.
He visited my house in London many times.
He enjoyed sharing the arrival of my grandson James-Tobias.
So so many good times we all shared.
For me the best memory is when we travelled together to Italy and then onto Susak where I met his family, cousins, nieces, nephews and many many friends.
Such an incredible man, I will miss you so much John. Thank you for being in my life and sharing such amazing times together.
God Bless you and keep you safe.
Love Jacki from London x

I remember John Bussanich like yesterday, our chaperone for the 8th grade class trip to Washington DC in 1995, 28 years ago. He was a fellow Croatian American, and quite the towering figure in the hallway, always remembering your name! Although time passes, we continue to live on in those we have touched and impacted along the way, as you never really forget those few extroardinary coaches and teachers.
