Miss Gunther was my Social Studies teacher from 1995-1997, she'd retire the very next year. She was truly one of the best teachers I ever had. A life well lived for sure, she would share stories of her travels to Alaska and even Russia, among other places. She will be missed but she is still very much appreciated a year after her death and almost 30 years after I was a student in her classroom. Rest in Peace

Seriously one of the kindest and most intelligent teachers I ever had. She was my Social Studies teacher for 7th and 8th Grade. She would tell our class stories of when she visited Russia post-communism in the early 90s and going to Alaska to see the "blue ice", among other stories. She would have us all switch seats every week, move back a desk or go to the front of a row and would say "1 2 3 Rotate" and had cue cards so you never knew when she'd call on you for an answer, but she always made her class interesting. Thanks for the memories Miss Gunther.

She was my Social Studies teacher in 7th and 8th Grade, she was no nonsense but fair and was a great teacher. Her stories of going to see the ice in Alaska and going to Russia among other places, plus many historical facts were a treat. A long life well lived. Thank You Miss Gunther!
