Margaret Dalton (nee Van Wicklen ), Age 94, of Maywood, NJ passed away on September 28, 2023. She is survived by her Daughters Margaret Mele and Jacqueline Paredes and Son-in-law Ed Paredes. Dear grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Jack (1981),Grandaughter Tina Paredes (1988), Son John Jr.(2004), Son-in-law Frank Mele (2008), Daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Frederick (2015) and her Brother Ed Van Wicklen(2015).

Margaret was born on June 13, 1929 in Jersey City, NJ. She worked in the offices of APA Trucking, North Bergen, for several years before her retirement.

Visiting at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen, NJ on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 2 to 6 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 7,2023 at 12 Noon at Our Lady of Grace Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
