Obituary of Giovanni Bussanich

Giovanni "John" Bussanich" 1933-2024 Giovanni (aka) John Bussanichof Fair Lawn, NJ formerly of Emerson, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Giovanni was born on July 5, 1933 in Susak, Croatia and was the son of Giovanni and Dinka Bussanich. He was the beloved husband of the late Giuseppina Bussanich for 65 years. He is survived by his son George (Wilma) and his daughter Mary Mircovich (Nick). Giovanni was a loving and caring grandfather to Melanie (Joseph), George (Cheryl, Stefanie (Dan), Krystal and Kerry. He was a cherished great-grandfather to Ryan, Colin, Sofia, Avery, Julia, Jayson, Luke, Reid and Archer. Giovanni was the beloved brother of the late Maria, Yolanda the late (Aldo) and Nicolina (Peter). He was also the adored Uncle, Cousin and friend to many. Giovanni was dedicated, loyal and caring to his whole family. He worked very hard and was a member of the United Council Of Carpenters Local 290. He loved to attend social gatherings and was always the "life of the party" He loved sports. Giovanni will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Visiting hours on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 3 - 7 PM at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen, New Jersey. Funeral Mass on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Madonna Chapel on the Hill, Fort Lee, NJ. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee,NJ. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him, May he rest in peace for eternity. Amen
