Tony Tarabocchia, 71, of Hoboken, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 29th, 2024.

Born in Susak, Croatia on January 27th, 1953 to parents Ivan Tarabocchia and Dinka Tarabocchia (nee Piccinich). Tony came to the United States as a young boy, around age 12.

He was a very dedicated worker, especially for the NJ Casket Company, where he enjoyed a successful career for over 50 years.

Tony will be missed by his brother, Silvio Tarabokija and sister-in-law Maria (Maruka) Tarabokija. He will also be missed by his niece Diane Mattessich and her husband John Mattessich, John Tarabokija (nephew) and his wife Donna Tarabokija, and Silvia Beck (niece) and her husband, Rob Beck, along with many loving great nieces and nephews.

He will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Ivan and Dinka Tarabocchia.

Visitation, in memory of Tony, will take place on Friday May 31st, 2024 from 4-8 PM at the Joseph Z. Konopka Funeral Home. Funeral mass will take place the following morning at 11 AM in Sacred Heart Church. After mass, we will take Tony to his final resting place at Fairview Mausoleum.
