Obituary of Shirley DeStefano

Shirley DeStefano (Nee) Quick, 93, of Toms River, NJ peacefully transitioned to her eternal rest on August 5th 2024. She was born in Huntington County and raised in Union City where she attended Emerson High School and later enrolled in the Eagans Business School. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Park Schiffley Embroidery before moving to Bayville where she worked in Kensington Manor as a payroll clerk. She was predeceased by her ever-loving husband, Louis DeStefano, dear son Thomas DeStefano and grandson Kristopher Paller. She is survived by her devoted son, Robert DeStefano and loving daughter Janet Khatami and son-in-law, Robert Khatami; along with grandchildren Devon, Jason, Amy, Julie, Alex, Erica (and husband James Kondel), Dylan, Nicholas (and wife Stephanie Paller) and great-grandchildren, Hanna, Bentely, Maddox and Sophia. Shirley will be dearly missed by her loving family. Visitation, in memory of Shirley will be held on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Joseph Z Konopka Funeral Home. We will take Shirley to her final resting place on Thursday, August 8th, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery for burial service to take place at 10:00 AM.
