Michalis Avrambos, age 51, of North Bergen, passed away on Thursday, October

3, 2024. Born on June 23, 1973, Michael was a long time North Bergen resident and

devoted parishioner of the Ascension Greek Orthodox Church (Fairview, NJ).

Michalis was a kind soul, who always greeted everyone with great respect and a

smile that lit up a room. He valued his family, friends and heritage. Although, Michael

faced some obstacles and challenges throughout his life, he didn’t let this hinder his

positivity and happiness.

Survived by his loving parents, Theodosios and Vasiliki. Beloved brother to Ares

and Rouby, and cherished uncle to Vikki, Nikki and Theo. Michael is also survived by

many uncles, aunts, and cousins, both in the US and Greece.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 9, from 4-8pm at Konopka

Funeral Home (9046 Palisade Ave, North Bergen. NJ). Funeral Mass will be held on

Thursday, October 10, from 11 am - 12pm at the Ascension Greek Orthodox Church (101

Anderson Ave, Fairview, NJ), immediately following by interment, at Fairview Cemetery

(Fairview, NJ).
