Obituary of Henry Ernest Kessler

Please share a memory of Henry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Henry Ernest Kessler, of Fairview New Jersey, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Henry is survived by his loving wife Veronica, daughter Karen, son-in-law Noel, daughter Katherine, son Billy(William)and daugther-in-law Jackie. Although Henry's physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the lives of his cherished grandchildren, Ian, Alea and Kaitlynn. A Korean War Veteran, Henry worked at Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in Hoboken and finished his career at the Brooklyn Navy Yards as Fire Chief and Leads Ship Fire Inspector in 1993. Henry was the spark that ignited the room and had high hopes for his beloved Jets team this season. His fun-loving, happy-go-lucky attitude was welcomed everywhere he went. Loved by all, his infectious positivity will be deeply missed. Visitation, in memory of Henry, will take place on Sunday, January 5th, 2025 from 2 - 6 PM at the Joseph Z Konopka Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 6th, 2025 at 1 PM in Our Lady of Grace church, Fairview. After mass, we will take Henry to his final resting place for burial at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, New Jersey.
