Araxi Atamian (nee Metjian),Age 89,of Palisades Park, NJ passed away on January 30, 2017. Beloved Mother of George, Jr., Linda and Marc. Loving Grandmother of Gary and Samantha.
Araxi was born in Jersey City, NJ and lived in Palisades Park since 1960. She was a self-employed Fashion designer and Homemaker.
Visiting on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Armenian Church, 318 27th Street, Union City, NJ 07087. Church service to follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at Grove Church Cemetery, North Bergen. In lieu of Flowers, the Family requests that donations be made to either Holy Cross Armenian Church, 318 27th Street, Union City, NJ 07087 or John Theurer Cancer Center, 92 2nd Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
