It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia (Pat) Ann Garcia announces her passing on Monday, February 24, 2020. Pat was born in Augusta, Georgia. She worked for the City of New York Human Resources Administration (HRA) for over 50 years and was regarded as a strong leader that developed and participated in many initiatives that helped clients reach a life of self sufficiency and upward mobility. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Raymond; her children, Janine Garcia-Sutton and her husband Andre, and Rachel Garcia-Kessel and her husband Glen; her siblings Thomas Washington and Janie Chambers; her grandchildren Lauren Sutton, Kyle Sutton, and Cadence Kessel; mother-in-law Ana Garcia; brother-in- law George Garcia; and grandpup, Tyler. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Washington and Pinkie (Washington) Roy, and stepfather Junius Roy. Visiting Hours will be held Monday, March 2, 2020, from 4pm - 8pm at the Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen, NJ. Mass will be held Tuesday at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 9034 Barr Place, North Bergen, NJ. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview Avenue, Fairview, NJ.
